E-commerce agency in Mexico: online stores made for selling
We design and develop stores on Shopify and WooCommerce for Mexican companies. Yours goes into production immediately upon being charged, invoiced, and generating shipping guides. We don't provide a template with your logo: we build the store around how you sell, how much inventory you manage, and who will manage it every day.

Shopify or WooCommerce: Which is best for your business?
It’s the first question almost everyone who comes in asks us. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, so we resolve it on the first call, before quoting. We work out both: if your case is clear for one, we’ll tell you that, even if it means a smaller project.
Shopify is a good choice if…
You want to launch quickly, your catalog is manageable, you prefer paying a monthly fee and not worrying about hosting, security, or updates. It’s the most convenient option for the team that will manage the store every day.
WooCommerce is right for you if…
You need your own business rules (wholesale prices, price lists per customer, private catalogs), you’re going to connect the store to your ERP or billing system, or you already have a WordPress site with well-positioned content that you don’t want to lose.
| Shopify | WooCommerce | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Fixed monthly payment + commissions | Hosting and licenses, no platform monthly fee |
| Launch time | Shorter | It depends on the customization |
| Customization | Limited by the platform | Practically without limits |
| Maintenance | Shopify solves it | Requires active maintenance |
| Customized integrations | Via apps | At the code level |
We compare the two platforms in detail in WooCommerce vs Shopify.
What your online store includes
Custom design for your brand
We design the store from scratch with your identity in mind; we don’t start from a pre-made template. We take care of what the customer decides: the product details, the photos, the internal search, and the catalog filters.
Catalog and product sheets
We load your catalog with variants (size, color, presentation), categories, related products, and texts optimized so that Google can find them. If you already have the inventory in Excel or another system, we migrate it.
Optimized checkout and cart
The checkout is where the sale is lost. We reduce steps, show the shipping cost before the end, and keep abandoned cart recovery active.
Speed and mobile version
Most of your buyers will come from mobile. We optimize images, Core Web Vitals, and loading time from the code, not with a plugin that promises to fix everything.
Panel and training
We deliver the store with a recorded training session so that your team can load products, change prices, and process orders without relying on us.
Technical SEO from the beginning
URL structure, headers, structured product data, sitemap, and tags are all built before going into production. It’s much cheaper to do it now than to fix it later.
Integrations to sell in Mexico
A store that doesn't charge or issue invoices as if it were your own business doesn't serve any purpose, no matter how beautiful it is. This is what we connect:
Payments
Mercado Pago, Stripe, Conekta, PayPal, Clip, and card payments with no interest. Also SPEI transfer and payment at OXXO, which in Mexico still closes sales that the card doesn't support.
Billing
Connection with your billing system to automatically issue CFDI 4.0 when the customer requests it, with RFC capture, fiscal regime, and use of CFDI in the checkout.
Shipments
Real-time pricing and generation of shipping guides with Estafeta, DHL, FedEx, Paquetexpress and 99minutos, as well as free shipping for a minimum purchase amount and in-store pickup.
Marketplaces and inventory
Synchronization with Mercado Libre and Amazon to ensure you don't sell the same product twice, and connection with your ERP or point of sale when you already have one.
Measurement
Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and conversion tracking. We have tested them with real purchases, not just when installed.
How we work
1. Diagnostic call
We review what you sell, how many products you handle, how you charge, and how you ship. From there, we recommend the platform and the actual scope of the project.
2. Proposal and architecture
We send you the proposal with the scope and deadlines in writing. If you approve it, we define the structure of the catalog and the store map.
3. Design
We design the home page, the category page, and the product page. We review them and adjust them before writing a line of code.
4. Development and integrations
We built the store, loaded the catalog, and connected payments, billing, and shipping services.
5. Tests and launch
We do proof-of-concept purchases from start to finish: payment, invoice, shipping guide, and mail to the customer. When everything works, we launch and train your team.
Typical time: 8 to 10 weeks, depending on the size of the catalog and the integrations.
What happens after the launch
Launching the store is the beginning. A store without traffic won’t sell, and a store without maintenance breaks down. You can hire the store yourself or leave the entire operation to us.
Maintenance
Backs, updates, security, and support so that you don't fall through the cracks during the peak season.
SEO for e-commerce
We position categories and product listings so that buyers arrive without paying for each click.
Google Ads and Shopping
Campaigns to sell from the first month as SEO matures.
How much does an online store cost?
It depends on the project, and anyone who gives you a price without asking anything is just making it up. This is what drives the figure:
- Catalog size: loading 30 products is not the same as loading 3,000 with variants.
- Platform: Shopify involves a monthly fee; WooCommerce, hosting, and maintenance.
- Integrations: connecting an ERP or a billing system is a custom-made job.
- Design: use an existing base or design each template from scratch.
- Content: if you need product photography and texts, or you already have them ready.
- Migration: moving an existing store without losing positioning or order history.
After the diagnostic call, we send you a proposal with scope, deliverables, and cost, so you can compare apples with apples.
Why work with Source Code
We are developers, in addition to designers
Whatever your store needs and the platform doesn't come with, we program it.
We know the Mexican terrain
Billing, interest-free months, payment at OXXO and local couriers. Agencies from outside don't handle it the same way.
One single provider
Design, development, content, SEO and Ads with the same team. No one blames the suppliers.
The store is yours
We provide you with access codes, a password, and documentation. If you ever change agencies, you won't be tied down.

Frequently asked questions about online stores
We resolve the most common doubts before quoting
How long does it take for my store to be ready?
8 to 10 weeks for a medium-sized catalog with standard payments and shipping. If you need to connect an ERP, migrate thousands of products, or produce photography, the time frame extends. We give you a written deadline in the proposal.
Can I manage the store myself?
Yes. We provide you with recorded training to upload products, change prices, process orders, and generate shipping guides. The only thing you need to leave us is the technical maintenance.
Will my store be able to file a tax return?
That's right. We connect the store to your billing system to issue CFDI 4.0, with RFC capture, tax regime, and use of CFDI during the purchase.
I already have a store; can you improve it or migrate it?
It’s a big part of what we do. We work on existing stores in WooCommerce, Shopify, and other platforms, and in migrations we take care of 301 redirects to ensure no ranking or order history is lost.
What happens if I sell on Mercado Libre or Amazon?
We synchronized the inventory so that you don't have to sell the same product twice. Your own store gives you more leeway and a direct relationship with the customer; marketplaces give you volume. Most of our customers use both.
Does it include the photos and text of the products?
You can include them. If you don't have photos or descriptions, we quote for them separately and produce them ourselves. More details in digital content creation.
Will the store appear on Google?
It comes with technical SEO resolved, which is the foundation. Positioning categories and products for competitive searches is an ongoing job that needs to be contracted separately: SEO agency Mexico.
What happens if my store gets slow?
It is one of the most common problems and almost always comes from overloaded plugins, unoptimized images, or a short hosting plan, not the platform itself. We check this during the monthly maintenance. More about this in Slow WordPress website.
How secure is a store on WordPress?
One store handles customer data and orders, so security is not optional: backups, updates, and monitoring. More Security of WordPress websites.
Do you work with companies outside of Mexico?
Yes. We have customers in the United States and Canada, and we operate stores in English and in several currencies.
Are there any monthly costs?
Yes, and it’s worth taking a look at them from the very beginning: hosting or Shopify plan, domain, security certificate, fees from the payment gateway, and maintenance. We’ll break them down in the proposal.
